Plaza Shopping Center to Open this Fall

shoppers! Wynn Las Vegas today revealed more details
about its planned shopping center development, which the
resort says will debut this year.
Referred to as Wynn Plaza, the shopping center will open
in fall 2017 with 75,518 square feet of luxury retail
space, according to a statement from the resort. County
officials earlier this month approved the resorts
plans for a two-story retail building that will extend to
Las Vegas Boulevard and will include the area inside the
resort that once housed a Ferrari dealership.
Wynn Plazas design will take cues from Europe,
particularly Paris Avenue Matignon, to create a
sense of elegance and sophistication, the
resort said today. The shopping center will feature
numerous luxury retailers and various interactive
and experiential opportunities. It will be
accessible via two entrances off the Strip, valet service
and interior entrances from the Wynn and Encore
Wynn Resorts CEO Steve Wynn said last week on a
conference call about his companys latest earnings
report that the shopping center would include a
beautiful glass roof, an atrium kind of
structure and that his company expected it to
contribute somewhere between $20 million and $25
million in extra income.
He also suggested that the shopping center was an
opportunity for his company to make the most of some
unused, ideally-situated land.
We had 300 or more feet on the Strip right on the
sidewalk in unused real estate that was very, very
valuable, Wynn said on the conference call.
